Carbon black is applied mainly in tires as excellent UV stabilizing, rubber reinforcement, which is also an excellent coloring agent for newspaper, pigmenting, and therefore is widely used for printing inks, resin coloring, paints, and toners. Carbon blacks are now widely utilized for master batch applications, such as conductive packaging, fibers, films, moldings, pipes and semi-conductive cables, carbon blacks enhance formulations and deliver broad flexibility in meeting specific color requirements, Carbon blacks provide pigmentation, conductivity and UV protection for a number of coating applications including marine, aerospace and industrials.

Furthermore, carbon black is used in various other applications as an electric conductive agent, including antistatic films, fibers, and floppy disks.
